About the event
Fox Hollow Vineyards is excited to host our first Pysanky Experience.
Pysanky is the ancient art of Ukrainian egg decorating, and this special class will be taught by Jenny Santa Maria onThursday, May 14th from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
During this unique experience, guests will learn about Pysanky, a revered art form dating back to the Neolithic era. Using a layered batik method with beeswax and dyes, participants will create intricate designs on eggs while learning a variety of techniques, exploring traditional motifs, and gaining a deeper understanding of the rich historical and cultural roots of this meaningful art form.
Pysanky is an art meant to be shared and given away in celebration of life and love. Each participant will leave with their own beautifully decorated egg, along with the skills and knowledge to continue the tradition at home.

Enjoy a hands-on evening at Fox Hollow Vineyards learning the ancient Ukrainian art of Pysanky egg decorating with instructor Jenny Santa Maria, creating your own beautifully detailed egg using traditional beeswax and dye techniques. All materials are included, and a cash bar along with our winery food and snack menu will be available for purchase throughout the event (no outside food or beverages permitted). This 21+ event begins promptly at 5:00 PM, and all ticket sales are final.
